Hi all,
We have just released an emergency patch fix to Apple due to a big performance issue when searching by format (i.e. Standard, Modern or Extended) together with a text search. If possible, please refrain from updating to version 1.10, and instead update to version 1.10.1 once it is available.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Also, a big thank you to Darryl Mann for quickly highlighting this issue to us.
Hi all,
We have also been updating the iPad version of the app with the new Modern format, deck filtering and legality search, as well as paging through searched. We also managed to squeeze in a turn counter into the upper right corner of the test deck section. Tapping the turn counter would both draw a card and increment the turn, thereby saving you a tap.
All the development is nearing completion, and we hope to roll out the changes next week if no further bugs pop up.
Check out the screenshots below.
One of the most requested features we have been receiving lately are:
- A way to check deck legality
- A way to search your deck (mainly for Commander players)
In the next patch, we have decided to solve both problems with a new customized deck sorting and filtering mode. By accessing the new Filter sort (which replaced sorting by name), you will be able to select either a card name or tournament format to filter by, and the deck will be sorted according to the customized filter.
I know it sounds a little complicated, but the screenshots below should help make the picture clearer.
Hi all,
In the next build, we will be adding support for the Modern format into Decked Builder. We are also changing the way the tournament format sets work -- they will display all cards that are legal in the format regardless of set. This would tie in with another upcoming feature -- checking deck legality. So for example, selecting Standard as the format will pick up an 8th Edition Giant Growth as well, even though 8th Edition is not part of Standard.
Also, incorporating one of the new technologies we had built for You-Go Builder (our Yugioh Deck Builder), you will now be able to page through the search results in steps of 400 cards.

Hi all,
We are happy to announce that we have just released Decked Drafter 1.3 to Apple for approval. The primary difference is that it is now a universal app, meaning you now install it on your iPad. The larger screen size of the iPad allows you to view all your cards in full size, exactly as they would look like in a real draft. We think this makes practicing draft on the iPad much more realistic, and better prepares you for a real-life draft.
We would also like to say a big special thank you to all the testers who had participated in the beta. Your feedback was invaluable in helping to shape a better product. We did not have the time to complete all your requests, but we are definitely going to implement some of them in the future (e.g. a draft timer). A special thanks goes to Ramon Delgado for helping to submit crash reports and getting his students to try out the app as well. :)
Check out our final release screenshot below (you can even compare it to our initial screenshot). We expect the new patch to be available on the App Store sometime next week.
Hi all,
Just to update everyone who is interested, the beta is proceeding along smoothly, and we hope to be able to make a release next week if we can iron out all the bugs. A big thank you to all the beta testers who have contributed your invaluable feedback.
Below is an updated screenshot of the deck screen on the iPad, where we found the space to split the main deck and sideboard into two sections, making it easy to move cards between both sections, especially for building sealed decks.
