We have now added the results of Standard SCG tournaments to the mtgo-stats.com page, as well as in our apps, so you will be able to clearly see the latest trends in paper tournaments on the SCG circuit. It's interesting to note that Mono Red, highly popular on MTGO, is nowhere to be seen on the paper circuit.

<![CDATA[Decked Builder iOS 3.2 and Missing Collections]]>Thu, 16 May 2013 02:10:22 GMThttp://www.deckedbuilder.com/1/post/2013/05/decked-builder-ios-32-and-missing-collections.htmlHi all,

We have been getting some reports about empty collections in the latest build. We are not so sure what's happening yet, but if you do get the issue, try loading another collection and then reloading the old one.

Another issue that is causing your collection to blank out might be a corrupted card database, in which case you will need to delete and reinstall the app. Just be sure to backup any local files first with iTunes File Sharing.

<![CDATA[Decked Builder iOS 3.2 and Dropbox]]>Thu, 16 May 2013 02:08:37 GMThttp://www.deckedbuilder.com/1/post/2013/05/decked-builder-ios-32-and-dropbox.htmlHi all,

If you have trouble accessing your decks and collections on Dropbox, it's because the app is now restricted to the /Apps/Decked Builder folder as per Dropbox requirements. Just move your decks over to that folder and you should be good to go.

Dropbox is our preferred method of synchronizing decks and collections now as it's easier to work with and is cross platform as well (it's not just limited to iOS).

Edit: as for why we are changing the way we handle Dropbox, it's because we are moving to the new Dropbox Sync API. You can find out more here:

https://www.dropbox.com/developers/blog/26

Like iCloud, Dropbox Sync lets you work with your files seamlessly whether you are online or offline, and have them automatically synced among your various devices. Also, our experience with iCloud is that it's proving to be a difficult technology to support and get right.

Edit 2: Dropbox Sync also lets you work with Dropbox files the same way as local or iCloud files. All changes to the deck or collection are automatically saved -- no need to manually load/save decks anymore.

Tappedout.net has released a set of public APIs that would make it possible for us to pull and push collection data to their site. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having some form of integration with them?

<![CDATA[Troll and Toad pricing now available]]>Thu, 02 May 2013 07:10:40 GMThttp://www.deckedbuilder.com/1/post/2013/05/troll-and-toad-pricing-now-available.htmlPicture
Hi all,

We are happy to announce that we have been working hard behind the scenes to add Troll and Toad to our list of pricing providers for Decked Builder. In their own words:

Troll and Toad has been in business for 20 years. Our owner was buying and selling singles from the very beginning of Magic, and it remains our core business to this day. We buy and sell thousands of cards each day, our prices are competitive, and we ship fast, generally the same day.

In addition to a great selection of singles and sealed product, we carry a full line of supplies from all major manufacturers, as well as some harder to find ones.
We understand that receiving your order on time and hassle free is important. So, we developed and implemented our own automated shipping system to ensure the highest level of excellence.

Likewise, we designed our very own order tracking system, so we KNOW when your order has exited our facility.

We buy cards as well. We have a brand new reverse shopping cart, or you can upload a spreadsheet of the cards you wish to sell. We offer a bonus for trades to give you extra credit when updating your decks.

Come check out TrollAndToad.Com for all your Magic needs!

<![CDATA[Decked Drafter iOS v2.0 released to Apple]]>Thu, 02 May 2013 07:04:29 GMThttp://www.deckedbuilder.com/1/post/2013/05/decked-drafter-ios-v20-released-to-apple.htmlHi all,

Thanks for all the feedback on the beta test! It was quite a rushed one as we wanted to push out the changes as quickly as we can. We have just released Drafter v2.0 to Apple for approval. The key changes are:

1) Revamped user interface
2) iPhone 5 long screen support
3) Support for different pack generation methods (i.e. so that we can handle Dragon's Maze packs and other future pack changes)

Please be patient while waiting for Apple to approve it, and check out the new screenshots below!
