Decked Builder - Mobile Apps for MTG

Hi all,

It has been a long journey, but we are happy to announce that we have just released Decked Builder for the Android. It currently contains almost all of the functionality of the iOS versions of Decked Builder except for Collections. We have also tried to port most of the same user interface conventions from the iPhone to the Android, except where it doesn't make sense (e.g. Androids have a back button).

Full details can be found on our new Android page here:

http://www.deckedbuilder.com/android.html

Check out the release screenshots below, and please tell all your Android friends that they can now enjoy building decks with Decked Builder on the go, just like you, and even exchange decks with you via email.

And for a limited time only, we are having a special promotional price, so tell them to grab it early while they can! :)

Hello, first of all I apologize for my poor English. I have this amazing application on my iPod, my iPhone, my Mac (with the problem of crash), and now Android. It's amazing how it has taken the simple and intuitive interface, but I have a question about two things:

- Possibility to inventory your collection of cards and export it
- Possibility to sort the cards of the deck by the set or the format in order to determine its legality

Do you know if these points will be implemented in new versions of the application for Android?

Regards,

Electroduende

@Electroduende Yep, we certainly plan to add both features, although the enhanced sorting will come first. Thanks for the support!

Congratulations on this awesome release! I've been eyeballing Decked Builder for quite some time now, wishing there would be a sister app for android.

Instant buy!

Allready did ;)

I've got a question though.
Is this a one time pay app or do I have to pay for each update?

Thanks.

Hello Decked Builder team,

Recently got into the hobby and can't believe how powerful this app is. The amount of work it does at the speed it does that work is incredible.

Reaaaally glad you brought this to android!

Three questions:
-My preferred seller is cardkingdom.com because I live near their brick & mortar store. In the future will it be possible to fetch their prices within the app like other stores already included?

-I notice that the app requires the google license check permission. If the worst should happen and your app is pulled from the android store, will it cease to function on my phone?

-I own the Venser vs. Koth duel deck, but it doesn't look like those cards are included in the database. Is it a recently released product, and therefore not yet included in the app?

Again, thanks for your hard work. This is without a doubt the best deck manager ever.

@Minus Glad you like the app -- thanks for the support!

About your questions:

1) We would love to carry card kingdom's prices, but I believe that they had expressed a disinterest in listing their prices on our app. If you get the chance to speak to them about it, that would be great!

2) I'm not sure about that, but Wizards has expressed that they are happy with the app for comparison shopping, so I do not think anything too drastic would happen.

3) Yes, we tend to update the database and app every time a new major release rolls around, in this case, M13.

Hi,

When are you planning on adding collections to the Android version of the app?

That's good to hear. Any possibility of adding sorting and Dropbox support to Collections?

@Thomas Dropbox support is likely, but I'm not what you mean by sorting?

In the deck view of the iPad version, there is an icon in the bottom left that brings up Sort By and Filter options. These same options in the Collection view would be great.
