Hi all,
The collections feature was pretty well received, and we are working on enhancing it based on all the feedback we have been getting. In the meanwhile, we have added some easy wins with the following small patch that has gone out to Apple: 1. Added new sets: Premium Decks, From the Vaults and new multiplayer sets (Archenemy and Planechase) 2. Save collections more often now to prevent data loss in case of crashes. 3. Fixed crashing bug on the iPad. 4. Added crittercism bug reporting to enable more timely and automated bug reports. This patch would be version 2.0.1 on iOS and 2.3.1 on the Mac. We have also been getting reports of crashes while searching and browsing cards on older iPhone 3G models running iOS 4.2.1. If you are experiencing such problems, kindly send in your bug reports to us (details are on our FAQ page). Unfortunately, we are unable to replicate the crashes on our devices (we only have a 3GS though, not a 3G). Worked with MTGOTraders.com's Heath Newton (he's a great guy) to get the price feed back up. Enjoy!
Hi all,
The price feed to MTGOTraders.com appears to be down -- we will be working to get it back up as soon as possible. As part of the collections effort on the iPhone and iPad, we have also updated the Mac edition with all the new goodies:
- iCloud support (accessible from the File menu) - Collection statistics We have also added the new Ajani vs Nicol Bolas duel deck to the app. Check out the new collection statistics screenshot below! Hi all,
We have just submitted Decked Builder 2.0 to Apple, with the latest Collections update allowing you to: - Easily input and start tracking your collection of cards - Quickly check for missing collection cards in your deck - Estimate the value of your collection - Synchronize your collection with your other devices via iCloud Please note that the Collections feature will be an add-on to Decked Builder, and will require an in-app purchase to activate. A big thank you to the beta testers who helped out and submitted their feedback, in particular Kristoffer Mørch Emil Amundsen and Torbjørn Aamodt. Attached below is a screenshot of one of the last features to be added -- a way to count and price your entire collection by rarity, set and color. We have also added the Ajani vs Nicol Bolas duel deck to this update as well. Based on the great testing feedback we have been receiving, we have added a new screen for managing collections on the iPhone and iPad, allowing you to input card collections data directly from the search results view. This should make it much easier to input collection data whenever you open up a pack or make a trade. Check out the screenshot below!
We are also currently testing iCloud support for collections as well, which means collections data input using your iPhone will be synched seamlessly with your iPad or Mac, and vice versa. This will be a big step up from using Dropbox, which requires manual synchronization. We do plan to charge a nominal fee (i.e. in-app purchase) to enable collections on the iPhone and iPad to fund future development, including features like collections statistics (i.e. how much is my total collection worth). Lastly, we are looking for more users who would be interested in testing collections synchronization with their iPhone, iPad and Mac. Anyone interested can register their devices at http://tflig.ht/q1MRTs and drop me an email at [email protected]. We are especially interested in Mac testers who have existing collections that they would like to see on their iPhone or iPad. |
